My approach

My approach to psychology is called " integrative ": I use different tools from various theoretical currents, which allows me to adapt to the needs of each patient according to the reason for consultation and the objectives, which may change throughout the therapy.

According to my approach, behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and feelings are learned. Implicit rules will arise from these learnings and guide our behavior. These rules might have worked in a specific context, for example, when we were children, but are now obsolete. However, the behaviors that result from these now obsolete rules, persist, which creates suffering.

It will therefore be a question of understanding what function behavior may have had in the past, discovering the implicit rule underlying it, to then updating it in relation to the current context.

In this regard, any behavior, thought, or emotion is normal, because coherent in the context in which it appears. This is why I prefer to think in terms of psychological processes, and not in terms of diagnostic categories, which encourage the classification of behaviors as "normal" and "abnormal".

I consider therapeutic work to be a collaboration between the patient and the therapist. We work together towards a goal of well-being. I am here to guide you in your process of change, in order for you to have more freedom and appeasement in your daily life.

During the sessions, I listen to you and accompany you with empathy, kindness, and always without judgment.  â€‹â€‹
